The Rubber Base & Build is specially developed for use in a gel polish environment. This 2-in-1 can be used on any type of nail plate but is specifically designed for thin, brittle nails and for treating problem nails such as spoon nails or oily nails.

An acidic primer is already included in the Rubber Base & Build Gel, so it is NOT necessary to use Primer, Bonder, or regular Rubber Base Gel after the Abstract® Prep Procedure.

NOTE: Rubber Base & Build is NOT intended to be used as a base gel in a hard gel or acrylic environment.

INSTRUCTIONS: NATURAL NAIL TREATMENT WITH RUBBER BASE & BUILD GEL

• Have the client wash their hands with the Hand & Body Wash.
• Sanitize your hands and the client's hands with Antisepta Spray or Clean & Fresh Watermelon Spray.
• Push back the cuticles using the Pro Pusher Maxi or Spoon Pusher.
• File the nails into the desired shape using a 180 grit file
• Remove any hardened or loose skin using a 180 grit file or the Cuticle Clean Up Bit.
• Remove the shine from the natural nail using a 180 grit file or the Diamond Cone Medium Bit.
• Apply Ph Nail Prep (for normal nail plates) or Ph Nail Scrub (for moist nail plates) exclusively to the natural nails. Let it dry.
• Apply a thin layer of Rubber Base & Build Crystal Clear to the entire nail, massaging it in carefully.
• Cure in a 36-watt lamp. LED: 60 sec | UV: 120 sec.
• Apply a second layer of Rubber Base & Build in the color of your choice to smooth out any irregularities in the natural nail and provide light structure.
• Cure in a 36-watt lamp. LED: 60 sec | UV: 120 sec.
• Apply Brilliance (cleansing required after curing), Shield & Shine, Gloss & Shine, or Matt Velvet Top Gel.
• Cure in a 36-watt lamp. LED: 60 sec | UV: 120 sec.
• Finish with Cuticle Conditioner cuticle oil and a soothing hand massage with Hand & Body Lotion.

INSTRUCTIONS: SHORT TIP & OVERLAY EXTENSIONS WITH RUBBER BASE & BUILD GELS

• Have the client wash their hands with the Hand & Body Wash.
• Sanitize your hands and the client's hands with Antisepta Spray or Clean & Fresh Watermelon Spray.
• Push back the cuticles using the Pro Pusher Maxi or Spoon Pusher.
• File the nails into the desired shape using a 180 grit file.
• Remove any hardened or loose skin using a 180 grit file or the Cuticle Clean Up Bit.
• Remove the shine from the natural nail using the 100 grit side of the 100/180 grit Buffer.
• Attach tips to the natural nails.
• Trim the tips and file them into shape using a 180 grit file.
• Blend the tips with the natural nails using a 180 grit file or Thermo Medium Sanding Cap.
• Apply Ph Nail Prep (for normal nail plates) or Ph Nail Scrub (for moist nail plates) exclusively to the natural nails. Let it dry.
• Apply a thin layer of Rubber Base & Build Crystal Clear to the entire nail, massaging it in carefully.
• Cure in a 36-watt lamp. LED: 60 sec | UV: 120 sec.
• Apply a second layer of Rubber Base & Build in the color of your choice to smooth out any irregularities in the natural nail, create light structure, and reinforce the tip.
• Cure in a 36-watt lamp. LED: 60 sec | UV: 120 sec.
• Apply Brilliance (cleansing required after curing), Shield & Shine, Gloss & Shine, or Matt Velvet Top Gel.
