WHAT TO EXPECT?

The Gel Artist training is divided into 3 blocks: Home Study, Theory, and Practice.

Home Study is necessary so that we can test the acquired knowledge in the physical theory classes and make adjustments if necessary. The largest block of this training covers practice, where we teach you all the tricks of the trade with passion.

During the Gel Artist training, you will first learn to perform a Gel Manicure. From Full Color to French Manicure to removal, touch-ups, and performing a natural nail treatment using BIAB (builder in a bottle) gel.

A deep understanding of nail diseases, the anatomy, and the chemistry from which artificial nails are made is crucial for correct work.

You will learn to extend natural nails using tips and templates. Full Color, French Manicure according to the classic method or using the reverse technique. Or how about a drawn French or a nail bed extension? We’ve got it all covered. Given that more than 75% of a nail stylist's task involves touch-ups, we find it important to extensively cover these practical lessons as well. As the cherry on the cake, you will learn some super handy techniques at the end of the module to provide your client's nails with beautiful salon nail art…

In short, the Gel Artist training is carefully balanced so that after completing it, you can make a strong start as a gel nail stylist.

To participate in the training, the purchase of one of the packages proposed by us and a curing lamp at ASAP Nails & Beauty is necessary.

AT THE END OF THE TRAINING
At the end of the training, you will receive a certificate of participation. After a practice period of 3 months, you can take the Manicurist & Gel Artist exam. Upon achieving a minimum score of 70% for both theory and practice, you will receive the Certificate of Achievement.
A successful student is added to a Talent Pool. This means that when a company needs a talented gel nail stylist, we pass on your details, increasing the chance of you being employed in a nail studio, beauty institute, or hair salon as a backup, intern, or permanent employee.

Please note, the lessons are conducted in Dutch.
